The Christian's job is to look at Jesus.
When you take your eyes off Jesus, look again at Jesus.
Take your eyes off Jesus...? Look at Jesus.
Many things will come your way that you will want to look at.
Some of these things you should not look at, but you will anyway.
When you do this, do not despair.
You will do well to remember, at these times, where your peace and joy lie; in Whom they lie.
When you look away from your Savior, look again at Him.
The sooner you put your eyes back on Jesus, the better off you will be.

If there's anyone out there who is reading this and who is unhappy, and who doesn't know the Lord, I promise you with all that I am that Jesus will be your happiness. He loves you so much! His heart is so big for you and he just wants to love on you so hard that you won't hardly be able to stand it. Please believe me; I know: all of my life I had been so very, very unhappy and for so very, very long. Now I know Jesus and I know He is my peace, and my love, and my joy, and my hope. He wants to be yours, too, if you don't know Him. All you have to do is trust in Him, and He will be more-than-your-everything -like He is for me.
When I lived in the Tenderloin, I knew a woman who, when asked by me how she was doing, would always reply, "I'm blessed and highly favored!". Having not understood what she'd meant by those words, I'd judged her as arrogant. In the years following, I became a believer in Jesus, and subsequently came also to a personal understanding of what a statement like that can truly mean for a person. That He reached down and touched me, speaking to my heart and saying, "Hey...you...come with me...be mine," that He enabled my hardened heart to reply, "Yes, Lord," placed me permanently in the most blessed position of all - that of being on the receiving end of an unending supply of His limitless grace.
Today when asked, "Jade, how are you?", I could do no better than to reply, "I am deeply blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ". Because He loves me and has laid claim to me as His own, I could never be anything else.
